Bitcoin To Make The World A Better Place
Winter came and went and, due to a very busy winter with banskoblog.com, the podcasts are back every Thursday afternoon. Be sure to subscribe in iTunes, SoundCloud or your favourite podcast player.
Special focus on Bitcoin and the blockchain with episodes 63 and 64 and 76 I put a lot of info and links in the show notes which I think will be helpful for those of you who are interested in seeing what all the fuss is about.
Episode 76 is a money saving episode. Places to spend Bitcoin and how I saved 19% on my Amazon order using purse.io. It really works and every cent helps when you have a baby to feed.
You'll also see that I have started a change in policy that combines how I started out with unique show covers but combining that with the general topic of the show.
Here are the show notes for episode 64, which is probably the most deep thinking of all the podcasts in the series do far. Thank you to Nikolay and Vladislav for being such willing guests.
Can Bitcoin give power to the people as they form decentralised organisations? Why will banks look different in the future? Can Bitcoin and the Blockchain render notary services a thing of the past? Are we heading for a fairer future?
Seriously though... Vladislav Dramaliev, bithope.org, talks about giving to charity both anonymously and without fees (http://bit.ly/1Ra7Rah). Nikolay Mitev, see podcast #63 below.
Nikolay Mitev explains how SSL certificates are being decentralised with www.letsencrypt.org.
Join these two great Bitcoin advocates and me, Lance Nelson, as we explore why Bulgaria's solution, as well as 6 billion of the world's population, lies with Bitcoin. Financial freedom and power could transform the world

#77 No Smoke Without Fire
There is no smoke without fire. What's going on in the wild lawless west that's called Bulgaria? Clive Leviev-Sawyer joins me to join the dots. As so often is the case in BG, things are not as they may seem at first sight.
From Plovdiv's warehouse to shootings on the Black Sea coast. Amazing that Mitko "The Eyes" survives. Turf wars continue whilst tourists dusk the bullets. And Clive takes a first look at the OneCoin story. Much more on this story to unfold over the coming months, me thinks.
Paromita Sanatani and Christine Milner talk to me about their friendship and successful business partnership, Insider's Guide to Sofia and In Your Pocket Guide to Sofia.
Paromita and Christine and share with me how they formed their business publishing Sofia guides together. From smoking to restaurants to the top cultural experiences such as the Gold treasures in Natural History Museum and The Architectural Museum and a special time to visit Nevski Church.
They reveal the truth as they see it.
Pulling no punches on their views of the world here in Bulgaria, their contribution to the media in the country and its image abroad is deep.
They tell about some underhand tactics they encountered. They consider the current issues in Bulgaria, the young, politics.
There is an after show chat included recounting a scary flight, politics, recent story on Afghanistani children in a Bulgarian school being met with hostility and general feelings on Bulgaria.
